The immune-system protects the organism from agression by pathogens and cancer. Immune-responses need to be carefully controlled to adapt to the type of agression and to avoid "immune-pathology" such as autoimmune disease (e.g. type I diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis), allergy (e.g. asthma), and chronic inflammation (e.g. inflammatory bowel diseases). Our research-team works on the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved
NEWS
Théotime Lavergne, B.Sc., has obtained a doctoral fellowship from the French ministry of research and education and will work on the biology and stability of regulatory T cells in cancer under supervision of Dr. Benoit Salomon. Welcome to our team Théotime!

Dr. Angélina Mimoun has recently joined our team. Angélina works on the ANR-financed TRINDI and REALITY projects in which the role of TNF/TNFR2 expressed by regulatory T cells in inflammatory diseases is investigated. Welcome to the team Angélina!

OUR RESEARCH TOPICS
Development of immune-toleranceImmune-tolerance mainly develops in the thymus. We investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved
|
Our epigenetic studiesThe development and function of immune- cells are controlled by epigenetic mechanisms, which we investigate
